Zac's belated birthday party!

Well with Jeff having been sick with bronchitus for the last 2 1/2 months we needed to delay Zac's birthday party. I thought that just maybe we could just have a family party this year and skip a year with all the friends, but then just a couple of weeks before Zac's birthday Jeff took lunch to Zac at school and all the kids were sitting at the lunch table asking when Zac's birthday party was going to be. With Zac having been with these kids since kindergarten they are all good friends. So we delayed the party until the kids got out of school for winter break. Here is the group that was able to come.
They all enjoyed the slot car races and we timed them which brought a lot of excitement to the room. Here the kids are playing Junior Apples to Apples.
Zac asked me to make the crusier cake. I have never done any cake decorating before and so I went to the store to get a small starter kit and this is how it turned out.
