Christmas Dinner

Jeff and I had a wonderful Christmas day. It was quiet but we had time earlier in the day with Zac and Micah on Facetime. Then a nice visit with our parents. Jeff cooked us up some yummy salmon and it was a great day.

Bloomington Trip - December

 We started the trip off with lunch at Mooyah in Brentwood, TN.

and topped it off with Smoothie King before hitting the road for the next several hours.

A stop in Paducah we found this fun metal sculpture.

Grabbed dinner in Effingham, IL.

We tried what they call BBQ here in Illinois but it was a definitely not up to Alabama standards.

We had this fabulous salmon dinner at Jakes in Bloomington.

There is this cute place we came across in our travels. 

 There is this old pizza place called Lucca Grill it was founded in 1936 by the Baldini siblings.

Our little family is growing and now we each have our own family now. So the family Christmas card
is evolving.

Then we stopped at a place called Pucketts for dinner on our way home.  

Thanksgiving

 Our first Thanksgiving in Alabama we were both sick and so it was uneventful for us. So for our second Thanksgiving we were invited to Jim and Aprils for dinner.  Their son and his girlfriend were there and Wendy Infanger.  It was a delicious evening and then we played games afterwards. 

My parents were in Yuma Arizona and they had dinner at Jack and Gina's new home with a bunch of friends.

We saw Tuck Everlasting at the Shoals Theater.

 

Jason Carter Visit

 Jason Carter came for a visit and he brought his friend Josh Schroder. The guys had a great time and recorded a song too.
