Our new life in Alabama

Jeff is still a kid at heart.
A night on the Tennessee River having pizza,.
Our new home.

Alabama has some of the most amazing sunsets. The picture just does not do the view justice.
Dinner and an evening on the deck enjoying time in my hammock.

Look at that beautiful blue sky.
We just love it here.

Jeff and Andrea Move to Alabama

I had a sever allergic reaction or a cold the day before we left Idaho.  I slept/rested all the way home.  Then I felt better the day the truck came. It wasn't long after that when Jeff got sick.  It was just bad timing. We are so very grateful for many wonderful members of our Fort Collins ward who helped us fill this trailer with all our belongings. It was a big job and could not have been accomplished on our own. The Jensen boys showed up the last day to finish loading and then was able to tie the load down.  You will see them above hanging from the sides looping the rope through. Dave,  Kathy and Jenny followed us over to Alabama with a load in their car.

When the truck showed up we were able to unload two thirds of it on our own. It was the wonderful ward members here in Florence that helped us to quickly unload the remaining heavy stuff.  A gentleman Carl even went back home to get his trailer. They were then able to load up the heavy saws and drive them down to the shop.  It was all over in about 45 minutes.

Kent & Sue 50th Anniversary

Jeff loves the trip across Wyoming when he reaches Taco Time. It brings back a lot of memories for him since that is a place he worked at both during and after his high school years. There is no Taco Time in Colorado so its not until Rock Springs that he is treated to his favorite meal a crisp meat burrito, mexi-fries and cinnamon crustos.

On July 1st we went to the temple as a family to do the work for my grandpa to his parents and grandpa to grandma.  It was such a special day and the spirit was so strong in there.  I hope that they will accept the gospel and temple work that has been done in their behalf.

On July 2nd we celebrated my parents 50th Anniversary with a luncheon. There were many that showed up for the special day.
