Christmas 2007

Well Christmas this year was very relaxing. Zac and Jeff watched the movie Transformers Christmas Eve and were up until about midnight. Then Christmas morning Zac woke up about 9:45 am. It was sure nice to sleep in and just take time to relax and enjoy the day instead of felling like you are running full speed ahead from first thing in the morning until the last thing at night. Then about 10:30 we sat down and enjoyed opening gifts and snacked on gumdrop cake and clementines. Later in the day I decided it was about time to make dinner and Jeff offered to make dinner so that was nice too. We spent the evening playing games. We taught Zac how to play Rummikub , another family favorite is Clue and then for Christmas we got Imaginiff. It is a fun game with a lot of people.
Zac enjoys this new book series Beast Quest.
Zac got a new pocket knife for whittling this year when we are out doing our hiking. Zac also got new hiking boots. These Zac will enjoy all year long as right now they are keeping his feet warm and dry in all this snow and this summer he will be able to use them on our hikes and going fishing with his dad and Papa. Zac got a new bike light as we enjoy going out on evening bike rides. There are a lot of paved trails in the area that are enjoyable to ride. We have seen deer, birds, and other wildlife.
