Blogging...
I have been reviewing my friends blogs and I really enjoyed my friend KaeLynn's blog. She is such an amazing person. So I am going to adopt her style and blog about what goes on in our week. Jeff and I were talking the other day and cannot believe that we are already in mid April where has the year gone. Then I was thinking well what have we done so far this year. We did have Jeff's, Kathy's and Grandma Jewkes's birthdays. But we have done so much more and if I don't start blogging about it well we won't remember it. So here goes to a new effort. I probably won't do a day at a glance but I will try for a week at a glance and then add pictures. So since I work and Zac is at school our mornings are pretty easy get up at 6:30ish and get everyone out the door by 7:25. Zac has to be ready for school and eat breakfast on the road since he get's up at 6:50ish. Then Jeff rolls out of bed at 7:15ish to drive. Once they drop me off at work the boys go home for about 15 minutes and then Jeff takes Zac to school. Jeff then pick's Zac up at the end of the school day and me at the end of the work day. This is our routine Monday - Thursday. I love having my AWA day on Friday. So this week:
Monday we are going for a bike ride right after work and then will have the Missionaries at 8pm. They will come and share a message with us and then we visit for a bit. It is sure fun having them in our home.
Tuesday is Scouts and RS activities at 7pm.
Wednesday we have a meeting at the school to wrap up bandfest.
Then Thursday Jeff is going home teaching and I am going visiting teaching.
Then Friday is our date day and a day to catch up on everything. Last night we watched New Moon. I know a lot of people really like it. But I don't think it is our "thing". We watched it and all thru the movie Jeff and Zac were saying so anytime now the jamacian guy should be showing up. And sure enough he did. I think I will just ask how the story ends as I don't think we will spend much time watching the rest of the movies.

Tennis on a Friday Afternoon
Well since Zac had spring break he spent the week with his grandparents in FC. This is what they did:
Monday: took him to Goodwill (his favorite shopping spot where he finds all his stuffed animals and he got some new summer shorts too) and to see the movie How to Train Your Dragon
Tuesday: took him to see the movie Tooth Fairy
Wednesday: took him to see Grandma Jewkes
Thursday: took him fishing - but did not catch anything
Then on Friday we went up to get him and spent the afternoon playing tennis at the park and then the boys practiced baseball and we tried Frisbee but it was too windy. Then that evening we took Zac to see Percy Jackson and the Lighting Theif. He sure enjoyed it. Then we went to Cafe Mexicali for dinner oh so yummy and then Kathy called and asked if we were going to stay the night. I told her it didn't look like it but then after talking to Jeff we changed our minds and decided to make a go of it. Since we didn't plan this we didn't have clean clothes. So we went to Kohls and picked up a shirt for each of us. Zac just got lucky and he also ended up with some swimming trunks. Then back at the in-laws Jeff got on the computer to find out when the CSU baseball camp was being held. Only to find out that it was tomorrow. So at 10:30pm we took off and headed for home to get all of Zac's baseball clothes and shoes. While we were there we grabbed extra food for Gingersnap too. Of course this would all be after we bought new shirts, but it was fun anyway.
So while Zac had the week with the grandparent's we took advantage of the evenings and went on a date. So Monday Jeff took me to HuHot (my favorite place for dinner) and then to see Crazy Heart then to Olive Garden for dessert but by this time I was hungary again so we got bread sticks and alfredo sauce also yummy!
Tuesday Jeff took me shopping and bought me a pair of jeans and a new shirt.
Wednesday we bbq hamburgers and watched Chuck (one of our families favorite shows)
Thursday we went to the park and played with the frisbee and then to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. They have the best rolls! I sure loved my time with you Jeff! Thanks so much for spending the evenings with me! After our dates he still went to work afterwards :o)

Getting back on track...

Well there has been a lot going on in our household as of late. About a month ago Zac fell off the monkey bars and landed on his left hand which we rushed him to the doctor and luckly for him is was only a greenstick fracture. So back we went 3 weeks later to the Doctors office and a new x-ray shows that he is healing up nicely. They said not to bump it for the next 2-3 weeks and he can take the cast off morning and evenings for a few hours. Now he is all healed and back to taking part in PE. Which he loves. We also picked up for him a baseball pitching/ training net. He has been asking for it everyday this week. So starting tonight he can start training. He is so excited for baseball season. I am glad to see him ready and is self motivated to start practicing.
