Tennis on a Friday Afternoon

Well since Zac had spring break he spent the week with his grandparents in FC. This is what they did:
Monday: took him to Goodwill (his favorite shopping spot where he finds all his stuffed animals and he got some new summer shorts too) and to see the movie How to Train Your Dragon
Tuesday: took him to see the movie Tooth Fairy
Wednesday: took him to see Grandma Jewkes
Thursday: took him fishing - but did not catch anything

Then on Friday we went up to get him and spent the afternoon playing tennis at the park and then the boys practiced baseball and we tried Frisbee but it was too windy. Then that evening we took Zac to see Percy Jackson and the Lighting Theif. He sure enjoyed it. Then we went to Cafe Mexicali for dinner oh so yummy and then Kathy called and asked if we were going to stay the night. I told her it didn't look like it but then after talking to Jeff we changed our minds and decided to make a go of it. Since we didn't plan this we didn't have clean clothes. So we went to Kohls and picked up a shirt for each of us. Zac just got lucky and he also ended up with some swimming trunks. Then back at the in-laws Jeff got on the computer to find out when the CSU baseball camp was being held. Only to find out that it was tomorrow. So at 10:30pm we took off and headed for home to get all of Zac's baseball clothes and shoes. While we were there we grabbed extra food for Gingersnap too. Of course this would all be after we bought new shirts, but it was fun anyway.

So while Zac had the week with the grandparent's we took advantage of the evenings and went on a date. So Monday Jeff took me to HuHot (my favorite place for dinner) and then to see Crazy Heart then to Olive Garden for dessert but by this time I was hungary again so we got bread sticks and alfredo sauce also yummy!
Tuesday Jeff took me shopping and bought me a pair of jeans and a new shirt.
Wednesday we bbq hamburgers and watched Chuck (one of our families favorite shows)
Thursday we went to the park and played with the frisbee and then to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. They have the best rolls! I sure loved my time with you Jeff! Thanks so much for spending the evenings with me! After our dates he still went to work afterwards :o)
