Memorial Day Trip

 We decided it was time to get back to the Coast and decided to try out some Mississippi beaches, Daulphin Island, and Pensacola Beach. We found the best BBQ at The Shed in Ocean Springs MS. 

Then on to Ocean Springs Beach for a sunset walk on the beach.

This is the park we found on Daulphin Island where we let Buddy run and had lunch here.

Then we went to the beach on Daulphin Island and enjoyed our time in the water.

 

We walked along the shops and found this cute photo board where Buddy got his picture taken. 

 

Then we drove through Bayou la Batre where Forest Gump was filmed. There were a lot of these cool fishing boats.  

This evening we tried out Biloxi Beach. This beach was different and some areas were sandy and some were muddy. So with each step you didn't know which you would step into. 

The next day we decided to head over to Destin Florida but the only dog beach was in Pensacola Florida.  So there we were able to get out and play on the beach. 

 

 

Then before we headed home we checked out Pascagoula Lighthouse park. There are some military ships being built here.

We went through Laurel Mississippi on the way home.
