Well I just got back from Utah and had a great time getting to see my parents, cousins Monte & Roy and Aunts Kay, Kim, & Joanne & Uncles Guy, Scott, & Lynn along with friends Gayle & Gordon, Doug & Connie and all their kids and grandkids living in Utah.

My cousin Monte picked me up at the airport and my flight was only an hour late coming in. Then we went to his home and talekd until 1:40 when we decided we had better hit the hay. Then we got up the next morning and went back to the airport where we met my parents. We were a few minutes late due to the snow storm that was blowing by. Then after I met up with my parents we went to Gayle & Gordon's. It wasn't long before my Uncle Guy arrived from Arizona. We then went out to lunch were we met up with cousins Monte and Roy. We ate lunch at the Mayan and visited for 3.5 hours we started inside and then went outside for an hour when we got cold enough we went back inside and kept on visiting. There was a lot to catch up on.

Then we got back to Gayle & Gordon's and not long after that we went to dinner after trying 3-4 resturants we ate at Red Lobster. This is where we met up with all of my dad's brothers and sister. It was a lot of fun. Then dinner was another 2-3 hours of visiting. My Uncle Lynn looked really good. He had chemo treatment that morning and was in good spirits.

Back at Gayle and Gordon's we sat down to visit with them and my folks were so very tired that they kept falling asleep so gayle insisted that they go to bed and they would visit later. The next morning my Uncle Guy came for breakfast and brought donuts (my favorite morning food). We sat around and visited and watched the funeral for our beloved President Gordon B. Hinckley. What an amazing man he was.

Then my Uncle Guy left for the airport to go back to Arizona and Mom, Dad and I went to Provo where for a moment I stopped into see my sister-in-law Jenny and her son Jaden. Then over to Cali Emig's we went where the rest of the Earl family & Boice family was hanging out and watching sports of course and I am sure it was something BYU - I think basketball but I am not sure. It was so much fun to see baby Abigail I got to hold her while everyone else was cleaning up from the kids play time and within a few minutes she was fast asleep in my arms. Jason & Kaylynn's new addition babay Abigail.

Joey & Cali's family and Courtney & Ashley's family.
Then dad, mom, Doug, Connie & I went out for dinner. We ate at Cafe Rio. It was delicious. Then a couple of hours of visiting later we headed out. Mom insisted going for ice cream at the creamery over by the college.

Sunday we sat around and visited with mom, dad, Gayle, her sister and Gordon. It had snowed about 8 or so inches and mom and I sat on the edge of her bed and watched Gordon outside shoveling snow. I was so glad it wasn't me out there. Then we had just gotten ready for church and the phone started ringing off the hook with the announcement that church had been cancelled. So about 4 pm we headed out to take me to the airport as my flight was to leave at 6:35 pm. Then at 7:00 pm they announced that our flight was just taking off in Phoenix Arizona and that it would be an hour and 40 minutes before that flight would land and then after they unloaded they would get us loaded and on our way. So another call to Jeff to let him know the my flight would not arrive until about 10pm. So after and hour long ride home and settling down for the night it was midnight by the time our heads hit the pillows and we were in dream land.
