Painting time again...

Here is the original living room.

Then in January 2007 Jeff & I painted the walls and then my father-in-law came over and helped Jeff put in the wood floors.

Isn't it amazing what some color will do. I feel like I can finally exhale from the crazy day while still making dinner.







Here is the hallway. It is relaxing just walking down the hall. Now this weekend Jeff and my father-in-law are going to put wood floors in my hallway. the carpet is so dirty since it gets all the traffic from everyone. More pictures of the finished product later...


I am loving the color on my walls. In January 2007 we painted the walls Gobi Desert and the doors Raffia Cream in the front living room. Also Jeff & his dad put down our wood floors. Then after we spent a week painting and putting the house back together we decided to take a break for a while. So with the fall time setting in I was ready for another round of painting. So this time we did the kitchen. It has Raffia Cream above and below the cabinets and on all the doors in the hallway. Then Cliff Rock on the rest of the walls in the kitchen and hallway. It just brings a feeling of warmth and comfort to the house. We just have the extra bedroom which right now is our TV room to paint and then the walls by the stairs which I am not sure how those will get done yet. This weekend I talked Jeff & his dad into putting wood floors down in the hallway. This will be such a nice finishing touch as the carpet is so dirty with all the traffic and dog training that we went through when we got Gingersnap. More pictures to come.
