October Temple Trip with my sweetheart

I couldn't make the gals temple trip this month since Jeff and I were just getting over a cold. So my sweetheart took me to the temple.  We went to Mooyah for lunch. Then we hit up Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Guitar Center and Home Goods. 

Trip back home

Yes it has been a long trip and we are finally going home.

 

Buddy is such a happy dog

Buddy is such a happy dog. He is so comfortable and content. He has learned how to play. He loves to lay on his back.He evens goes to his toy box and will pick out what toy he wants to play with. He loves to snuggle. He will play with his toys it is so fun to watch him. He has us on a ridged walking schedule. I don't know how he tells time but he comes to us at a regular time ever time and lets us know it is time for his walk.

First Surgery of 2024

Well it has been 12 and half years since my last surgery. For the first surgery of 2024 was 9/17/24 at Women's and Childrens Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr Nassif is my doctor and I had to be there at 6:00 am.  We left the house at 4:30 am. It was a really long day.   This surgery lasted me until December 4th when I started to struggle with breathing again.  So then I made a new appointment for December 5th.  Then it was determined that the surgery did not work and they scheduled a second surgery.  Here is the picture from my first surgery.

Amazing co-worker

In August 2021 after I graduated with my bachelor degree I was able to get a temporary work assignment with Life Agency Compensation. They have been who we in Life Compensation and Credit Unit go to for help when we couldn't figure out a problem. When I started with this team we were writing the code for the new GIFE product. Lisa was also new to the team and we were figuring it out together.  Now fast forward one year. Lisa is getting ready to retire and Brad comes onto our team.  So now we are writing the code for the Select product, but this time I know just a little more than I did last time.  Brad was so much fun to work with. We worked together, collaborated, had a lot of laughs along the way. Working with Brad made coming to work each day so much fun. When I went to Illinois last time Brad asked me to come over. He had made this beautiful clock. I am so blessed to work with such fun, kind and talented individuals.

Paducah KY

 On our way home from another trip to Illinois for work we stopped in Paducah, Kentucky to check it out.  We decided to check out the National Quilt Museum. The talent on the walls is something incredible.

There were some cool old churches in town. The architecture is amazing.
