Catching up...the family outing at the park and Family Olympics.

 We all went to the park yesterday and hung out in the river, played games and had our family Olympics. I have a few pictures from playing in the river and even Ginger enjoyed it. So enjoy the pictures.

Primary Temple Trip - Denver Temple

Saturday Zac and I went with our friends the Coleman's to the Primary Temple trip activity which was at the Denver Temple. My good friend Julie was snapping pictures of her cute family and offered to take one of Zac and I. Thanks Julie for the picture.

Zac and Chores...

 

Zac: "Mom why are you taking a picture of me?"

Mom: "So I have proof that you do chores."

I have made lists of chores for Zac to do while I am at work.  I figure that it not only teaches him good work ethic, but that as a family of three we all have to pitch in and help out.  Plus as my personal favorite since I am spending 3-4 nights a week at baseball or practice it is only fair that he spend his day's doing all the house cleaning.  So here are a few pictures...

Zachary having "Blonde Moments"

So Zac said to me this afternoon... "Mom I have had a few blonde moments today" after leaving the spoon in the macaroni and cheese and putting it in the microwave to warm it up for dinner and earlier he put a hot pad on the unit on our flat top stove so that he would not burn himself while the unit cooled down. He really tried hard to burn the house down today. Glad that he was not successful. That would have been really bad.

Summer Baseball

Well as you can see summer baseball has been a little cooler this summer.  But we still have had a good time.

Jeff and I decided to take a break and head up to the mountain park that we love so much.  There is beautiful mountains, trees to provide lots of shade and the river to cool off in. We were just finishing our pizza when it started to rain so we ran to the shelter and sat at the picnic tables and played games for the evening.
