"Rats"

Zac was in the school play last night called "Rats". He was a towns person. I have to say he was the most animated person on the stage. The performance sounded great too. So I guess I will have to purchase this DVD to put in the family archives for his first school play!

This is no surprise to us as we are always wondering where the camera is. He is very animated at home too.

Wrapping up the school year...

Well we are down to the last 3 weeks of school. This week we have our annual field day so we are hoping for good weather. Then next week we have Zac's school play "Rats" that he is in. Then baseball practices begin on that Thursday with a school field trip on Friday which Jeff and I get to go and help chaperone with. Then with 4 days to go we are at the finishline of 4th Grade. WOW! I can't believe that this year has gone so fast.

This summer is not going to slow down either. Jeff and I will be coaching Zac's baseball team with practices beginning next week. This is our 3rd year of coaching and it is fun to watch the kids play ball and see how talented some of them are. I could personally hand select a great team if given the choice. However we are not given the choice so we can only hope for a great team. This year there were enough kids for 2 teams at Zac's level so we might end up playing against some of the kids from our team last year.

Date Night

My sweet husband called me at work yesterday morning and asked me out on a date. He said he wanted to show me how much he appreciates all that I do with taking care of the house and all the overtime at work I have been putting in. I have to say that he too has been very busy. He has redone his website and I have to say he did a great job. (I know that I could never do what he did with that website.) So check it out! www.jeffjewkes.com

So as for our date night. We are going to the movies and going to see the Soloist while my wonderful Father-in-law is going to meet up with us and take Zac for the evening.
